Our vision is a world where human activities foster climate justice and ecosystems sustainability

0ur Vision

0ur Mission

Our diverse spiritual traditions call us to be agents for climate justice.  We address the existential threat of climate change through environmental education and action within our religious communities, advocacy for climate legislation, and collaborative actions with other environmental organizations.

“A wee child toddling in a wonder world, I prefer to their dogma my excursions into the natural gardens where the voice of the Great Spirit is heard in the twittering of birds, the rippling of mighty waters, and the sweet breathing of flowers. If this is Paganism, then at present, at least, I am a Pagan.”

What Is Dark Green Energy and Why Should We Care

All households that get their power from PG&E in the counties and cities covered by MCE Green Energy are automatically enrolled in Light Green, getting their energy from 50% renewable sources. MICA's goal is for everyone to choose Deep Green in order to get their electricity from 100% renewable sources.  It will cost one cent per kilowatt-hour more and you will be producing ZERO CO2.

MICA’s goal is for everyone in Marin (homes, businesses, schools, etc.) to opt up to MCE Deep Green and get their electricity from 100% California renewable, 100% greenhouse gas free sources.  Opting up costs the average household about $4/month and produces none of the greenhouse gases that are polluting the air and causing global climate change.  www.mcecleanenergy.org
